Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Gehana is a licensed naturopathic physician who loves to listen to her patient's stories and provide a space where they feel welcome and heard without any judgement. She believes that her patients have the key to their own well-being and her job is to support and educate them on evidence-based medicine in a way that suits each individual. She prides herself on creating individualized treatment plans that address the whole person-physical, mental and emotional parts to achieve holistic wellness.

Dr. Gehana makes use of patient's history, focused physical exams and lab testing to support diagnosis and come up with a comprehensive treatment plan. She loves using a combination of botanical medicine, nutraceuticals, clinical nutrition, acupuncture, IV therapy and prescription medications to support her patient's overall health.

Dr. Gehana is passionate about providing primary care and has a general naturopathic medical practice with a special focus in:

Women’s health: PCOS, PMS, menopause, menstrual irregularities, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum support.

Digestive health: Gas, bloating, constipation, IBS, SIBO, food sensitivities, GERD and candida.

Endocrine health: Thyroid, weight management, insulin dysregulation and diabetes.

General health: Fatigue, sleep support, stress management and mental health support.

Dr. Gehana graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Science majoring in Integrated sciences (Evolutionary cell and cancer biology) where she was involved in researching the use of natural health products in cancer care with published journal articles. She then joined the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine- Boucher campus where she underwent rigorous medical training to become a primary care physician.

When Dr. Gehana is not serving patients, she enjoys hiking in the woods, taking in the ocean breeze, spending quality time with her baby girl, husband, family and friends.
